I've got lots of photos to share today. Stick with me.
Finally, I downloaded my pics from the Desert Quilter's of Nevada quilt show earlier this month in Henderson, Nevada. Great show.
Andy went along with me. Of course, we stayed in Las Vegas. He says Vegas was great. Not so much Henderson. He is bored at any show! This may have been the last time I can bribe him into going with me! LOL
Here are some photos of the quilts on display.
"First Nectar Lone Star" by Darlene Finney
My apologies to the quilter. I forgot to snap a picture of the tag. The scotties sure were cute.

"An Ocean of Stars" by Carolyn Ratola.

Andy sitting in my booth. Very bored! Can you tell?
Andy developed some new software that we tried out at the show. Worked great. We knew exactly what we had sold, for how much and taxes collected. That was great, because in Nevada, I had to write a check for sales tax collected on the spot.
I would have been held captive otherwise, until I paid up!!
Best thing! I didn't have to count up all my inventory when I returned. Woo Hoo!
Besides, demoing ( is that a word???) my Stitching Lines at shows, we set up a lap top and have my Youtube video streaming the whole time. We found out that some people would rather watch that, then come watch me sew. Works either way!!
The flower quilt in the middle and the one to the right are two of the patterns I developed for Quiltsmart. I just recently started taking them to shows. They are Primrose and Tesselation.
And now here is what I have on my design floor at the moment. It's a zigzag quilt made with what else! Half-square triangles. I am still working on the border treatment. You can be sure it will be pieced!
It started out as diamonds. They were all pieced and sewn into rows. Andy said it looked like mud!! It's been reworked and colors were added!
Lots more rows to go!

Great photos, Mary! I have wanted to do a winding ways for a long time - I'd better quit looking and start doing - lol! Your booth is fantastic! I like booths like yours that are bright and colorful and make you want to go in and talk to them - I would definitely be drawn into yours in a sec! Poor Andy - he really does look bored! Hey - do you think Nevada would let you spin the slot machine for the taxes (wink)? Love the zig zag - when I look at the bottom photo is almost looks like tumbling blocks! I'm glad the show was a good one for you!
Cheers!
Wow! The quilts at the show are beautiful! Sigh, to be so talented (or patient enough to do all the detail work).
Yup, Andy does look bored. LOL Sounds like he was a great help though.
